Wilson Huang

Wilson's passion for music began back in 2009, with his debut performance in his Secondary School Hall. Wilson has since honed his craft in singing and musical performances, leading him to his current status as an independent Singer-Songwriter with 4 song releases to his name. 

Other than regular gig nights at established bars, Wilson has conquered various major performing venues such as Star Theatre, Esplanade Concert Hall, and the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The stage is a familiar place for Wilson. His great sense of humor and warm personality has won the hearts of many audiences and live bar owners. This gave him countless opportunities to perform at Mandopop live venues such as Switch by Timbre, 2mm Talenthub, Unplugged, and Tinbox the Live House. He is currently the resident musician at ICHI and JINJU. 

Wilson began his professional singing career back in 2014, performing the opening act for the Annual 新摇 Concert 32. He was recruited by TCR Music Station and has since kept a close working relationship with them for a variety of shows. This includes an annual 20-show School Tour which focuses on educating the next generation on local compositions. 

He is the designated guitarist for 96.3 FM's series of roadshow performances titled 好想跟你唱. He has also toured with the radio team onboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise for their annual publicity trip. Besides performing, Wilson has been a music performer/singer-songwriter for the past 10 years. He specializes in pop-guitar playing, pop-keyboard playing, and play-n-sing on both instruments. After teaching for years, he has had experiences with students ranging from 8-50 years old. Being a songwriter himself, Wilson brings with him his understanding of songs and helps his students immerse themselves in the music language. Wilson also finds great joy in sharing his love for music and imparting his skillsets to budding musicians. As a self-taught musician, he is able to quickly understand the problems that new players are facing and tackles these issues efficiently and effectively. He has taught students from various ages and backgrounds, including children as young as 8 years old. His patience and nurturing spirit have helped his students explore their vocal abilities through well- thought lessons. 

Wilson offers both private and group classes to cater to students with different learning styles and abilities.
