Marcus Chin 陈建彬

Marcus is a veteran artiste whose career spans over 30 years in the entertainment business.

In the 70s, he was better known as one of the popular TV hosts with Chinese variety programs. Over the subsequent years, he took a break from the TV screen but went on to produce and act in live theatres and numerous public performances.

Although he was on his own, he has successfully held personal concerts and has produced numerous CDs, LDs, and VCDs. Undisputedly, this man has been seen to be a very talented and versatile performer.

In the year 2001, Marcus made a comeback on TV after a long break. With his first crossover to an English drama sitcom, he took on the title role in "Brand New Towkay" and his performance was well-received. In "Comedy Night 2003", he rose to fame after starring as a female character "Bao Mei Li", which subsequently won him the "Best Comedy Performer" award at Star Awards 2004. During the epidemic, Chen Jianbin and his apprentice Zhang Xiong established the "Marcus Chin Live Streaming Studio", which successfully transformed and opened more than 200 live shows and goods. At the same time, he began organizing courses to train a new generation of live broadcast personnel and teams.

陈建彬纵横新加坡娱乐圈40年，70年代是新广（新传媒前身）著名的电视节目主持人。

在新加坡也主办过好多场个人演唱会，也灌录了无数张唱片，其中有民歌专辑，福建歌曲，搞笑歌厅秀等等，是一位能唱，能主持，能编能演的全方位艺人。

他在电视荧光幕消失多年后，2001年以五频道环境剧“Brand New Tokay”返回电视台，更在2003年的搞笑行动反串包美丽获得2004年红星大奖最佳喜剧演员。2013年也挑战自己，参与实践剧场舞台剧“老九”的演出。2014年新传媒电台Love97.2特别为他制作了他的个人脱口秀“陈建彬的爱妹关系”。

目前主持的电视节目“黄金年华之斗歌竞艺”和电台节目“早安。玉建崇”都深受民众喜爱。2014年5月，陈建彬也担任了新加坡艺人公会会长，开办课程提升歌台艺人水平，也积极的办慈善活动帮助需要帮助的慈善团体。疫情期间，陈建彬与徒弟张雄成立了《陈建彬直播室Marcus Chin Live Streaming Studio》，成功转型并开了超过200场的直播节目和带货。与此同时，他也开始举办课程培训新一代的直播人员和团队。
