Our Team

Lin Yun Feng is a highly experienced full-time music director, musician, and educator with a passion for teaching the cello and violin. He began his career as a freelance cellist with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and subsequently moved on to become a full-time string ensemble conductor.

Lin's musical education includes studying the cello under Mr. Ding Xiaofeng and obtaining the ABRSM Advanced Cello Performance certification. He has also studied the violin under Miss Irene Eng, Mr. Ho Boon Tiam, and Miss Lin SuZhen.

During his National Service, Lin served in the SAF Music and Drama Company. In 1997, he was selected as a Singapore representative to the prestigious Asian Youth Orchestra.

Lin has conducted many groups for the Singapore Youth Festival and was invited to conduct the Kidsphilharmonic and the Singapore University of Technology and Design Chamber Ensemble.

Since 2019, Lin has been a dedicated String Instructor at the Purple Symphony, where he provides private cello and violin lessons to students of all ages and levels. He is also active as a performer, regularly participating in local and international musical events.
With his extensive experience, strong qualifications, and passion for music education, Lin is committed to helping his students achieve their full potential as musicians.
