Liang Xin Yu 梁馨予
Liang Xinyu is a Chinese pianist who graduated from the Royal College of Music - NAFA, Bachelor of Music.
In 2016, she started her music journey at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), School of Music. She had participated in many masterclasses, receiving instruction from piano professors such as Mr. Dang Thai Son (the winner of The International Chopin Piano Competition in 1980), Prof. Andreas Webber, Prof. Vanessa Latarche, and Prof. Dina Parakhina from the Royal College of Music, and Prof. Junghwa Lee from Korea. Liang participated as a répétiteur in the NAFA Choir for two years and rehearsed a lot of choir pieces and opera, such as Beethoven Symphony No.9, the 4th movement, Beethoven Chorus Fantasy for Piano, Chorus, and Orchestra, No.80, as well as Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss.
She was the Lucien Wang Scholarship holder, the second prize winner of the Lucien Wang Piano Competition in 2017 and 2018, and the third prize winner in 2019. She was also the finalist of the Kris Foundation Fund Concerto Competition in 2019, which was held in NAFA.
